5-Year Apprenticeship Program

THREE Programs

Building Trades

Focuses on training apprentices in the installation, fabrication, and maintenance of sheet metal products used in construction projects, ensuring precision and high-quality workmanship. Apprentices learn to work with various materials and tools, developing skills in reading blueprints, cutting, architectural sheet metal, and assembling metal components for a wide range of applications.

Service

Apprentices learn to service, repair, and maintain HVAC and HVAC/R systems, emphasizing diagnostic skills, troubleshooting, and the efficient operation of the systems. This pathway includes comprehensive training on the latest HVAC technologies, energy efficiency practices, and adherence to environmental regulations. Apprentices also learn to effectively communicate with clients and to provide excellent customer service.

Testing and Balancing

Specializes in teaching apprentices how to measure, adjust, and balance HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with design specifications and building codes. Apprentices gain hands-on experience with advanced testing instruments and techniques to accurately assess airflow, temperature, and system functionality for both new installations and existing systems.

2-Year Apprenticeship Program

AC Specialists

Our AC Specialist Classification within the Apprenticeship Program is designed to equip apprentices with the expertise needed for duct installation in both residential and light commercial HVAC projects. AC Specialists are trained to handle a variety of duct systems, ensuring proper airflow and efficiency. The program emphasizes precision, adherence to safety standards, and the latest industry practices, preparing apprentices to excel in installing ductwork that meets the specific requirements of diverse HVAC systems. Service Technicians

The Service Technician Classification in our Apprenticeship Program focuses on the essential skills required for servicing and maintaining HVAC systems in both residential and light commercial settings.
